PRESS RELEASE

There has been much speculation recently that Valderrama will host another major event in 2009 and several articles have appeared in the Press.

However, these reports have been premature as nothing definite has been agreed, although it is well known that we are actively working towards hosting a major tournament in the future, especially since many top professionals, including Sergio García and Padraig Harrington, have commented that Valderrama is too good a championship venue not to do so.

When negotiations have been concluded, an official announcement will be made, and until that time, we have nothing further to say.
